Did you know that . . .

There are 53 hectares of coastal bushland within the Town of Cambridge locality.example of broadwalk sign

Interpretive signs were erected along the boardwalk in July 2007. Children and adults are sure to enjoy these informative signs which highlight biodiversity aspects of the dunes.

The construction of the boardwalk was completed in September 2005. The boardwalk is well utilised with many people enjoying the views of the Indian Ocean from the elevated vantage points. If you haven't yet visited the boardwalk, it is certainly worth a trip to the beach - and while there, check out the progress of the restoration works.

In the competition to find Perth's best beaches for 2005, City Beach won top beach and Floreat Beach came a close second. (Thanks are extended to all who helped in the restoration of dunes around these beaches.)
